CycloTech provides customized solutions for UAV manufacturers as auxiliary or main propulsion system. The ability for immediate and direct control of the magnitude and direction of thrust 360° around the rotation axis allows a dynamic and precise maneuverability of the aircraft.
Applied as an auxiliary system, CycloRotors enhance existing drones in terms of precise positioning and gust compensation in harsh weather conditions, for example, the inspection of critical infrastructure.
Cyclorotors as main propulsion increases the performance of VTOL midrange drones, for use cases such as cargo transportation and gas pipeline inspection.
CycloTech is a leading partner for UAM manufacturers, for auxiliary or main propulsion systems, which provide agility on a superior level and allow to react to crosswinds and gusts in a much faster and effective way. Especially during the critical take-off and landing phase, CycloRotors can immediately counteract interfering forces, instead of banking the complete aircraft or tilting a propeller unit.
Air taxis with CyloRotors as main propulsion system, do target ranges around 80-120km, enabling a more compact design of the aircraft, and therefore reduces the direct operating cost compared to existing concepts.
R.evolution of motion
Our four-rotor flight prototype is designed to prove the manoeuvrability of CycloRotors and the usage as a main propulsion system. It is a de-scaled 5-seater Air-Taxi configuration reduced to a pure technology demonstrator.
