CycloRotor technology can set new standards and open up a wide range of possible applications. I look forward to working with the team on this exciting future, advancing the development of new electric drives and revolutionising air mobility.’
Hans-Georg Kinsky looks back proudly on the successes of recent years: ‘Developing the CycloRotor technology has been a fascinating journey, and I am grateful for the dedicated work of our team. With Dr Marcus Bauer as our new CEO, we are ideally positioned to continue realising our vision of sustainable, electric air mobility.’
Hans-Georg Kinsky took over the role of CEO from CycloTech in 2016 as shareholder representative. Since then, he has built the company into a pioneer in innovative propulsion systems for aviation. CycloTech now employs over 60 people at its site in Linz. CycloTech’s innovative CycloRotors have already completed over 800 test flights with their demonstrator. The new BlackBird demonstrator is currently under development and will make its maiden flight in early 2025. Kinsky will remain on the company’s advisory board.
