Configuration Manager (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for the initial setup and management of the Configuration Management System, you also will:
- Own the Integrated Requirements Management process and be responsible for its implementation. This includes baselining, naming and numbering convention, data and records integrity, validation and release, V-model development and change process
- Administer and evolve the product change process, including management of Change Request and Notes, assisting in Enterprise Change Assessment and Configuration Audits
- Co-own the selection-process of the PLM solution for the company
- Ensuring traceable and complete documentation for all changes and related data
- Supporting the definition of Configuration Management Plans for the assigned projects/changes
- Support for Product Structure (BOM) definition during the development process
Requirements
- Master’s degree in an engineering field, preferably in aviation
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in configuration management of which at least 3 in the aeronautical industry
- Minimum of 3 years' continuous experience with a major PLM system (3DS, Enovia, Teamcenter, Windchill). Setting up a PLM solution from scratch is considered a plus
- Experience with EASA product certification rules is wished
- Fluent communication in English
- Basic communication in German, or willing to achieve B1 level
- Good communication skills and abilities to work in a mixed team environment with internal and external stakeholders, mediating different requirements and perspectives
- Structured, independent, accurate and solution-oriented way of working, prepared to set goals on its own and coordinate them in a fluid environment
- CM2-C or CM2-P certification
