IT / PLM Architect (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Own the IT requirements and their implementation in the processes, SOPs and IT-solutions
- Build the internal IT-services
- Manage the company's IT hardware and software
- Co-own the selection-process of the PLM solution
- Evolve the PLM solution in cooperation with the external software architect and all internal process owners
- Manage the PLM change process as the PLM deployment advances and the company process landscape evolves
- Coordinate the rest of the software stack needed for the company operations (e.g. ERP / PM / CAE) including business-IT alignment
- Participate in the identification, definition and application of methodological solutions within IT in close cooperation with the Integrated Process Excellence department
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing, integrating or scaling PLM solutions, preferably in aviation
- Minimum of 3 years' continuous experience with major PLM system (3DS, Enovia, Teamcenter, Windchill)
- Varied knowledge of IT subject areas, or willing to develop those in the context of the company generic IT-architecture and services
- Experience in building solutions across a varied software stack, e.g. interfacing PLM with ERP or PM software, is a plus
- Fluent communication in English
- Basic communication in German, willing to achieve B1-level
- Good communication skills and abilities to work with internal and external stakeholders, mediating different requirements and perspectives
- Structured, independent, accurate and solution-oriented way of working, prepared to set goals on its own and coordinate them in a fluid environment
- Experience in setting up the PLM solutions from scratch Is an advantage
